Lifeway Foods Introduces Gingerbread Kefir for the Holidays

Originally, the word “gingerbread” referred to preserved ginger, but was later used to describe variations of spice breads popular in France and Germany. Nordic countries took to baking ginger biscuits and decorating them with glaze and candy – and various countries around the world are known to cut the biscuits into shapes from houses to ornaments to the famous gingerbread man.
We’re celebrating this unique holiday tradition with our limited edition Gingerbread Kefir! Look for it, along with our other holiday flavors Pumpkin Spice and Cranberry Crème Brulee, at fine retailers nation-wide.
